Alabama football’s offensive lineman, Tyler Booker came to the defense of his teammate and fellow captain, Malachi Moore, on Monday.
Moore’s actions in the fourth quarter of the game resulted in a penalty when Vanderbilt sealed the victory. Former Alabama running back, Damien Harris spoke out against Moore’s actions while others have expressed their understanding for his frustrations.
Booker said he understands why Moore did what he did on “Next Round Live.”
“Malachi, he’s so prideful about The University of Alabama,” Booker said. “I’ve learned so much about being an Alabama Football player from Malachi. Yeah, he had an emotional moment at the end of the game but when he got into the locker room he was the leader that he needed to be. We all understand where his frustration was coming from.”
Moore and Alabama will look to turn the page against South Carolina.
