Alabama sportscaster said “he will be surprised” if a motivated Tide team doesn’t show versus South Carolina

Gary Cosby Jr. - USA Today Sports

Where does Alabama football go to after last week’s loss at Vanderbilt?

Crimson Tide fans hope this team can flush that moment and move on. Disappointment was the theme to end the weekend heading into this week, but the Tide has to refocus. Alabama returns to Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium for Saturday’s 11 a.m. matchup against South Carolina. Shane Beamer has a good team that wants to continue to attack the Crimson Tide.

Chris Stewart, the play-by-play announcer for Alabama via Crimson Tide Sports Network, said “he would be surprised” if a motivated Alabama team does not show up versus the Gamecocks. In the Nick Saban era, the Tide destroyed the next opponent after losing a matchup — especially one it should have won. Saturday will show us how Kalen DeBoer rebounds after a loss.

He faces adversity with the honeymoon stage being over for Tide fans.

What version of Alabama will we get this week? We are definitely about to find out.
