One of the top freshmen wide receivers in the country is Alabama football’s Ryan Williams.
Williams was added to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List on Wednesday.
The Biletnikoff Award is recognized annually and is given to the most outstanding receiver in college football.
The former five-star recruit has burst onto the scene in Tuscaloosa. Williams leads the Crimson Tide in receptions (19), receiving yards (544), and receiving touchdowns (6). The 17-year-old is making a strong case to be the top freshmen wide receiver in the country as well as the top overall wide receiver in college football this season.
Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer and the Alabama coaching staff have one of the more premier pass-catchers in college football. It has shown through the first five weeks of the 2024-2025 season.
