The University of Alabama football team is down an offensive lineman on its roster.

According to rolltide.com, Naquil Betrand is no longer with the Crimson Tide. The transfer from Texas A&M has been removed from Alabama’s roster. The 6-foot-6, 326-pounder came to the Tide with a lot of potential as a freshman. He did not play last season at Texas A&M, regardless of him being one of the top athletes in the Aggies’ No. 1 ranked 2022 recruiting class.

Betrand, a native of Philadelphia, Pa., wore No. 65 for the Tide.

It is unknown as to why he’s been removed from the roster, but he is no longer there.

Alabama is getting ready to kickoff its matchup against Tennessee at 2:30 p.m. CT on ABC.
