The National Football League announced it has suspended Detroit Lions’ wide receiver Jameson Williams due to having violated the leagues’ performance-enhancing substances policy.
Williams is suspended for two games.
The former Alabama wideout has accounted for 17 receptions for 361 yards and three touchdowns in seven games this season.
“I’m in good spirits, just ready to get back with the brothers ASAP soon as possible,” Williams told ESPN.
Williams is now designated to return from his two-game suspension on Nov. 10th when the Detroit Lions travel to take on the Houston Texans on Sunday night football.
