The trade deadline for the National Football League is on Nov. 5 at 4 p.m. ET.
Several teams in the NFL are trying to position themselves for a deep playoff run and a Super Bowl opportunity.

One team could possibly unload a former No. 1 overall pick before the deadline. According to Dianna Russini of The Athletic, the Carolina Panthers could deal Bryce Young away before the deadline. Young, the No. 1 overall selection in the 2023 NFL Draft, has not had a great start to his career in Carolina. He has been demoted to backup quarterback behind Andy Dalton after three games this season, totaling 299 passing yards and no touchdowns to three interceptions. Young, a California native, struggled in his rookie campaign with 11 touchdowns to 10 interceptions. He is in need of a fresh start, but does it happen before the deadline?
Could Bryce Young be dealt before the NFL trade deadline?
Some league personnel are hoping Carolina pulls the trigger, says @DMRussini.
