Edward Baker posted an offer from Alabama football on Wednesday.
Baker attends St. Frances Academy in Maryland, and he is a 2026 recruit. He now holds offers from the Crimson Tide, Miami, Tennessee and others. His ranking and rating on all recruiting sites are expected to rise in the future.
The junior shared an Alabama offer is something he thought he would never have.
“This offer means a lot, a dream come true,” Baker said. “I would have never thought I would get an offer from Alabama. So, I’m extremely blessed and grateful.”
The 2026 recruit went on to say he has faith in the Tide’s ability to develop.
“I love the program,” said Baker. “They have a great history of developing guys and putting them in the NFL and making them better men.”
Baker stands at 6-foot-5 and weighs 315 pounds. He displays the potential to play multiple positions across the offensive line at the next level with his agility, ability to finish blocks and get to the second level and block.
“I feel like I have a good pass pro with a good punch and dancing feet,” Baker said. “Also a good run blocker. I feel like Coach Kap ( Alabama OL coach Chris Kapilovic) can help me improve.”
