Cantwell is considered by multiple recruiting sites to be the nation’s No. 1 2026 offensive tackle as a five-star prospect. He attends Nixa High School in Missouri.
The junior expressed major confidence in Alabama’s staff after the visit.
“Bama is a great program with a great atmosphere that can win any given Saturday and has a great coaching staff that can develop,” Cantwell said.
The Missouri product’s visit included time with the Tide’s coaching staff, a front-row seat to their win over the Tigers and time in Alabama gear. He shared he had a ‘great time’ to social media.
“Had a great time at Bama yesterday! Atmosphere was great and they played well for four quarters,” Cantwell posted to X.
The 6-foot-7 offensive lineman is a top target for the Tide in the 2026 class. He is expressing heavy interest in Alabama under DeBoer as they are considered a top team in his recruitment at the moment.
