One of the most renowned sports personalities in the world made an interesting statement regarding the Alabama football program.
ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith issued his latest hot take in regard to Colorado head coach Deion Sanders and alluded to Alabama in the process.
“And I ain’t gonna lie to you, even though I didn’t say anything about it at the time, because the man was a two time Pac-12 coach of the year and won a national championship, couple of national championships in the NAIA, and had Washington in the national championship game last year, damn it. The way Alabama’s looking, I think they should have hired him (Deion Sanders) at Alabama.”
Sanders has amassed a 10-10 record since being hired to lead the Buffaloes. Colorado currently sits at 6-2 on the season and is in a position to win the Big-12. The Buffaloes are ranked as the No. 23 team in the country.
Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer has led the Crimson Tide to a 6-2 record this season. Some fans are hopeful for the future while others still have some questions that need to be answered. Could Sanders have been the answer to all of Alabama’s questions?
