Lane Kiffin is not happy about LSU playing a night game against the Alabama Crimson Tide on next week.
The Tide and the Tigers will battle in a pivotal SEC matchup on Nov. 9 in Baton Rouge. The game will have a major impact on how the 12-team College Football Playoff will play out.
This matchup has been played a night several times.
However, Kiffin feels it is unfair this time around with Ole Miss hosting Georgia on the same day.
“Playing at night in electric atmospheres is a home-field advantage and tough when you got to do that as an opposing team,” Kiffin said. “So, that’s been proven for a long time…LSU gets to play at night again, I guess. Shocker. So, that’s two for two for them, It is an advantage. I feel bad for our fans to not have one night conference game is really unfortunate for them. Whatever. It’s just really disappointing.”
Alabama is off this week after beating Missouri.
