Everything is on the line this weekend for both Alabama and LSU who each are looking to avoid a third loss which will likely eliminate any hopes of making the new expanded College Football Playoff.

Crimson Tide wide receiver Kendrick Law put it plainly when speaking with the media on Tuesday. This weekend’s game against the Tigers is getting treated like a national championship game.

“It’s the same approach for each game,” Law said. “The championship is this Saturday, not next Saturday, because it’s not guaranteed. We’re going to keep attacking the game that stands in front of us.”

For Law, it will be a homecoming game for the Shreveport native who is making his second trip to Tiger Stadium on Saturday. Although friends and family will be on hand, Law isn’t letting things get in the way from what the team has to do.

“It’s home, but I treat it like every game,” Law said. “Like it’s the national championship. Being close to home, for us it’s just another game.”

Law has appeared in six of eight games for Alabama this season as he missed time with injury. In those six appearances, Law has been up and down in terms of production and utilization as a whole within the offense catching just eight passes for 95 yards and one touchdown.

The Crimson Tide offense as a whole has struggled for the past several weeks to find consistency and will look to get players like Law going in order to keep its playoff hopes alive against LSU.
