Alabama football has two scholarship wide receivers, who are out for the season with injuries in Cole Adams and Jalen Hale.
Hale was injured in the spring and has not played in any game this season. Adams was injured in Alabama’s win over Missouri, and Kalen DeBoer revealed he was out for the season on Monday. Tide wideouts, Kobe Prentice and Kendrick Law have also missed time this season with injuries.
DeBoer discussed how Alabma plans to attack the rest of the season with injuries continuing to impact the Tide’s wide receiver room.
“A couple weeks ago, we had multiple guys out with K Law (Kendrick Law) and Kobe (Prentice) and that’s where you know Cole got more playing time as well as some others,” DeBoer said. “Unfortunately, we aren’t at full strength there but just much like most of the teams across the country are. So, you’re short handed, but you mix and match and continue to find the versatility in guys and put them into spots and coach them up. There’s a lot of cross training that happens within positions and receivers one of them. So, guys that can play inside and outside, both, we’re going to utilize them to their fullest potential, but it’s always all hands on deck especially this time of the year.”
Alabama will look to utilize the weapons at its disposal against LSU this weekend.
