LSU is expected to get one of its playmakers back this weekend against Alabama.
Starting wide receiver CJ Daniels has played off and on the last three games as he dealt with a lower leg injury. He will likely be back in the lineup against the Crimson Tide barring any setbacks.
Daniels is the team’s third leading receiver with 29 receptions for 342 yards. He contributes to a formidable passing attack headlined by former Alabama wide receiver Aaron Anderson and wide receiver Kyren Lacy.
His presence could be vital to LSU’s success through the air. The Tigers have one of the more prolific passing attacks in the SEC this season. Brian Kelly’s squad averages 337 passing yards per game. The Alabama secondary will need to neutralize Daniels and his teammates in order to have the best chance to win in Baton Rouge on Saturday.
