Alabama quarterback, Jalen Milroe made Crimson Tide history on Saturday night versus LSU, rushing for two scores in the first half and breaking Jalen Hurts’ program record for single-season rushing touchdowns.
Milroe tied Hurts in the first quarter of Alabama’s Saturday night primetime matchup against LSU when the dual threat QB erupted for a 39-yard touchdown for his 13th rushing score of the season. This helped the Tide offense jump out to an early 7-0 lead at Tigers stadium.
Milroe would later go on to break Hurts record previously set in 2016 in the 2nd quarter when the redshirt junior quarterback broke free for 10 yards into the endzone for his 14th rushing touchdown of the season and second score of the evening versus the Tigers defense.
