Ryan Williams pushes back against Travis Hunter winning Biletnikoff over him

Alabama star freshman wide receiver, Ryan Williams pushed back against the idea of Colorado’s two-way athlete, Travis Hunter, winning the Biletnikoff award over him when former NFL wide receiver, Keyshawn Johnson, mentioned the possibility on his “All Facts, No Breaks” podcast.

Johnson didn’t hold back in his sit down interview with Williams, attempting to stir the pot when mentioning Hunter as a strong candidate to take home this years Biletnikoff award, which is presented to college football’s best wide receiver. Williams admitted he is impressed with Hunter’s skill and occasionally checks out his games when he gets a chance but doesn’t want him winning the award on his watch.

“I can’t let him do that, I can’t let him do that,” Williams said.

Johnson then asked Williams to express why and what makes him the better wide out over Hunter.

“I feel like I’m the best receiver in the country, especially whenever my team puts me in an opportunity,” Williams said. “They do a great job of giving me an opportunity to showcase that. In the open field, I don’t feel like nobody can tackle me… I just feel like I got all aspects of every type of receiver. I can play big, I can play small.”

Williams and Hunter have both been impressive in their own right this season, both leading their teams in all receiving categories through nine games.
