Alabama football now has a 72 percent chance to make the College Football Playoff after picking up a win against Mercer, per the AllState Playoff Predictor.
The Crimson Tide improved to 8-2 on the season with the win. They are still in the mix to make it to the SEC Championship game if they win out. A win in the conference title game would secure Alabama a spot in the College Football Playoff.
Alabama is currently rank No. 10 in the official College Football Playoff ranking. The next ranking release is on Tuesday.
