Former Alabama WR has career day in NFL

Former Alabama wide receiver Jameson Williams had a career day with the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The former Biletnikoff Award winner reeled in four receptions for 124 yards and a touchdown. His previous career-high in receiving yards was 121 in week one against the Los Angeles Rams.

Williams has battled through injuries and off-the-field issues to become a key part of the Lions offense. On the season, Williams has recorded 24 receptions for 538 yards and four touchdowns.

He is the Lions home run threat and has helped form one of the best wide receiver duos in the NFL alongside Amon-Ra St. Brown. The two have continued to develop and thrive in Ben Johnson’s offense. I would expect Williams to continue to build off of his career day.
