Alabama signed a haul of offensive linemen in its 2023 class, but its recent group of freshmen included three guys up front.

William Sanders, one of the linemen, is getting Crimson Tide fans excited for next spring. Tyler Booker and Jaeden Roberts should be heading to the NFL Draft after this season. Booker is one of the best offensive guards in the nation, while Roberts’ size, talent, and production should get him selected too. Geno VanDeMark and Olaus Alinen may slide in as the next two starting guards, but keep your eyes on Sanders. The former four-star is a powerful interior lineman from Brookwood (Ala.) High School.

Kickoff time, TV channel announced for Iron Bowl

Sanders, an Alabama native, was recognized for his efforts on the scout-team two help the Crimson Tide handle Georgia earlier in the season on Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The 6-foot-3, 309-pounder has Kalen DeBoer’s attention as well as David Ballou’s in the weight room. He is doing some freakish things athletically to prepare himself to be the future in the trenches.

“He’s becoming extremely strong in the weight room,” DeBoer said Monday about Sanders.

Could we see him take reps in the Iron Bowl or maybe the postseason for Alabama?

We will see, but at least Alabama knows it has a force on its line for next year.
