One Alabama wide receiver was listed as a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award on Tuesday. The award is presented annually to the nation’s most outstanding receiver.
That is freshman sensation Ryan Williams. The 17-year-old has been everything that Alabama had hoped for this season and more. Williams has been the most consistent weapon in Alabama’s offense alongside quarterback Jalen Milroe.
Williams leads the team in receptions (40), receiving yards (767), and touchdowns (8). He has been a workhorse for the Crimson Tide and will continue to be down the stretch.
The former Mr. Football in Alabama has burst onto the scene and made a name for himself relatively quickly in Tuscaloosa. He has seen no shortage of opportunities and has made the most of a lot of them this season. Alabama’s offense will continue to work through Williams as the season progresses.
