Many former Alabama football players were frustrated with the team’s performance versus Oklahoma.
The Crimson Tide’s postseason aspirations are gone with last week’s loss to the Sooners.
Alabama WR takes blame for Jalen Milroe interception in loss to Oklahoma
Alabama’s offense was held out of the end zone for the first time since the 2011 Game of the Century against LSU.
Alphonse “Shank” Taylor, a former Tide offensive lineman, was arguably the most visibly angry athlete on social media.
The former two-time national champion questioned the lack of usage Alabama gave its running backs. All three of the Tide’s losses have one thing in common: its opposition stayed disciplined to its rushing attack and Alabama did not.
Tennessee and Oklahoma rushed for 200-plus yards on Alabama, while Vanderbilt had 166 yards and two touchdowns.
Who steps up for Alabama’s defense if Deontae Lawson is out?
In all three games, Haynes and Miller combined for less carries than the opponent. Taylor, who blocked for the 2015 Heisman Trophy winner in Derrick Henry, does not understand why this Alabama coaching staff won’t trust Miller and Haynes.

Run the ball

I’d like to see a first down run to a RB. Followed by a 2nd down run to our RB. 3rd down read option with a slant attached.

Hopefully, Taylor’s words can reach the coaching staff for the Iron Bowl.
