Gary Cosby Jr. - Tuscaloosa News / USA Today Sports

Many Alabama fans and local media have given up on the Crimson Tide making the College Football Playoff.

After the Crimson Tide suffered its third loss to Oklahoma, most have turned their attention to the Iron Bowl and want the Tide solely focused on beating Auburn. However, an important member of national media still believes Alabama can make the playoff with three losses. Heather Dinich, an ESPN College Football Playoff expert, detailed on Monday’s airing of Get Up how the Tide can ‘absolutely’ make the playoff.

“All it takes is one upset like Notre Dame losing to USC and if that were to happen, according to the Allstate Playoff Predictor, Alabama’s chances would be 50.1 percent to get into the College Football Playoff,” Dinich said about Alabama. “I had Indiana out of the bracket and then Alabama and Ole Miss lost. Now, Indiana is back in. So, who knows? When is the next upset?

The latest edition of CFP rankings will drop Tuesday night via ESPN.

We will see how much chaos happens in rivalry week.
