Nick Saban feels there is only one team, who will have an argument to make the College Football Playoff with three losses.
Alabama is 8-3 and are projected to be the second team out of the 12-team College Football Playoff. However, their playoff chances are not completely non-existent. Saban feels there is a three-loss team not name Alabama who would have better argument than the Tide.
The Crimson Tide’s former head coach feels the team, who would have an argument for a spot with three losses would be Georgia.
“The only team that could have an argument to get in with three losses is if Georgia actually plays in the SEC championship game, they really shouldn’t be penalized if they would happen to lose the game,” Saban said on the Pat McAfee Show. “They would end up with three losses, but I don’t think a team that didn’t play in the championship game should get in, especially if the team played a good game, and it wasn’t a blowout.”
Alabama will see if they have a realistic chance to make playoff when Saturday’s slate of games wrap up.
