The players of Auburn University have been talking trash all week ahead of the Iron Bowl.
Alabama fans are ready for the annual rivalry matchup Saturday at Saban Field, but Mike McCoy is more than prepared to watch his Alma mater show up and show out. The former Crimson Tide wide receiver returned on The Coach’s Corner w/Mike McCoy via Touchdown Alabama Magazine to break down the game. McCoy, a 2009 BCS National Champion, gave DeMarcus Riddick of Auburn props for talking jump, but he wants to see Riddick stand on business. He challenged Jalen Milroe to be at his best this weekend and sent a message to Nick Sheridan, Alabama’s offensive coordinator. McCoy wants to see an offense clicking big time.
“Be creative man,” McCoy said. “Don’t y’all run this unseasoned chicken offense on Saturday. I am tired of seeing this unseasoned chicken man. Get some Publix chicken, man. Get some Popeye’s chicken, man. I love that chicken at Popeye’s. I need to see a two-piece with some biscuits on the way home, man. Stop playing with these boys man.”
