Alabama football does still have an argument to make the College Football Playoff, but it may just be that.
The Crimson Tide are 9-3 on the season after defeating Auburn in the Iron Bowl. Alabama has multiple wins over teams in the CFP Top 25 with wins over Georgia, South Carolina and Missouri. They also have a couple of unranked road losses to Oklahoma and Vanderbilt.
ESPN College Football Playoff expert, Heather Dinich feels the Tide will most likely miss the playoff in favor of a 10-2 Miami squad, who lost to Syracuse to end the season and will miss the ACC title game.
The next CFP Top 25 rankings will be release Tuesday. It will give the Tide more clarity.
