London Simmons made things official on Wednesday by signing with the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Simmons hails from Flowood, Mississippi and played for Hartfield Academy. He is regarded as a three-star prospect.
At 6-foot-3 and 295 pounds, Simmons is a force to be reckoned with along the interior of the defensive line. The Mississippi native will play nose guard or defensive tackle for the Crimson Tide. Simmons has a quick get-off and is strong at the point of attack. That is something that defensive line coach Freddie Roach will certainly welcome heading into the offseason. Simmons burst onto the recruiting scene during his senior season, so that is a big reason for him being ranked as a three-star. Do not let that distract you from the fact that Simmons has a great upside and is a promising interior defensive lineman.
