Abduall Sanders Jr. made things official on Wednesday by signing with the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Sanders is from Santa Ana, California and played for Mater Dei High School. He is regarded as a three-star prospect.
The California native will join his high school teammate Chuck McDonald in Tuscaloosa as both signed with the Crimson Tide on Wednesday. Sanders Jr. is listed at 6-foot-1.5 and 225 pounds. He began his high school career playing primarily edge rusher. In the past two years, he has transitioned to inside linebacker. He could be used in a variety of ways in Kane Wommack’s ‘SWARM’ defense, but I would expect him to start off at inside backer. Sanders Jr. possesses a rare skillset that allows him to rush the passer, play the run, or be used in coverage. Each of those assets will be valuable at the next level for Sanders Jr.
