Mal Waldrep made things official on Wednesday by signing with the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Waldrep hails from Phenix City, Alabama and played for Central High School. He is regarded as a three-star prospect.
At 6-foot-5 and 320 pounds, Waldrep could play multiple positions along the offensive line. Waldrep is nimble and does a good job of winning one-on-one matchups at the tackle position. He also excels at making blocks at the second level. Alabama offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic will likely experiment with Waldrep to see what position best suits his skillset for the college level.
