Darrell “Duke” Johnson made things official on Wednesday by signing with the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Johnson hails from Eastman, Georgia and played for Dodge County High School. He is regarded as a four-star prospect.
The four-star was recruited by the Alabama coaching staff to play linebacker. He could be used as an inside or outside linebacker at the college level. Johnson has a physical prowess and is an elite run stopper. He does not shy away from contact. Johnson finds ways to impact games from various different positions and is just an all-around athlete. The Alabama coaching staff is eager to get Johnson on campus so that he can become familiar with the defense and find ways to be an immediate impact player next fall.
