Lotzeir Brooks made things official on Wednesday by signing with the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Brooks hails from Millville, New Jersey and played for Millville High School. He is regarded as a four-star prospect.
An all-around athlete. That is the best way to describe Brooks. Prior to the start of his senior season, Brooks set the state’s record for career receiving yards (3,355) and receiving touchdowns (51). The New Jersey native possesses the athleticism, speed, and playmaking ability to be a contributor on Day 1 in Tuscaloosa. He has all of the traits to be one of the next great wide receivers to come out of the University of Alabama. It will be interesting to see how he is used in Kalen DeBoer’s offense. He is most effective with the ball in his hands similar to wide receiver Ryan Williams. The two could form a solid duo for the next two to three years.
