They do not like this scenario, but Alabama football fans are at the mercy of the College Football Playoff Committee.
ESPN will have the Selection Sunday show at 11:00 a.m. CT to see who goes into the 12-team playoff.
Alabama needed SMU to win the ACC Championship to stop the chaos, but Clemson won on a last-second field goal.
We now have a debate between the Crimson Tide and Mustangs on who should enter the playoff. In a poll done by Touchdown Alabama Magazine over 2,000 fans voted on if the Tide gets into the playoff. Sixty-one percent of fans said “Yes,” while 39 percent said “No” to Alabama getting in. Crimson Tide supporters also left comments in the poll about the situation.
