The 2024 regular season did not end the way Kalen DeBoer and Alabama football wanted it to.

It had an opportunity to position itself for a Southeastern Conference Championship and a College Football Playoff, but a late loss to Oklahoma damaged both goals. The Crimson Tide finished the regular season at 9-3 and it goes into the ReliaQuest Bowl to face Michigan in Tampa (Fla.) on Dec. 31.
Regardless of the disappointment, the Tide has some promising things under Coach DeBoer it can turn to moving forward. Listed below are four promising aspects Alabama has under DeBoer.
1. Good recruiting classes
