The Michigan Wolverines will be without the services of senior running back, Donovan Edwards when they face Alabama in the ReliaQuest Bowl on New Years Eve.
Edwards decision to opt-out comes after leaving Michigan’s contest versus Ohio State with an apparent chest injury. The senior tailback officially confirmed this news with WXYZ-TV in Detroit on Saturday.
Edwards concludes his 2024 season with four touchdowns and 589 rushing yards on 128 attempts.
The Alabama defense will now shift their focus to Wolverines tailback, Kalel Mullings, when they kickoff from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida on Dec.31.
