The first round of the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff has wrapped up, and ESPN college football analyst, Paul Finebaum, like many others, did not like what he saw.
Finebaum took a shot at the committee on Saturday afternoon by taking to social media after seeing the first half of Penn state vs. SMU and the complete Notre Dame vs. Indiana game.
“So far, the CFP selection committee has given us some blockbusters,” Finebaum sarcastically posted. “Notre Dame led late over Indiana 27-3 and Penn State just went up on the committee’s final team 28-0 at the half. Take a bow.”
This rant by Finebaum and many others around the college football landscape comes following the committees controversial decision to leave 3-loss teams such as Alabama, Ole Miss, and South Carolina out of the post-season tournament.
