Former Alabama running back, Mark Ingram was one of many who criticized the competition in the first round of the College Football Playoff.
Fox Sports’ Tim Brando seemed to have taking offense to this criticism and went after Ingram by stating Alabama did not belong in the playoff.
“Bama had no business being in this playoff buddy. Sorry, if ya wanted a 3 loss SEC Team? South Carolina or Ole Miss were the better choices! Can’t lose the games they lost and expect to be in. Simple as that Mark. You’re a helluva talent, but at a certain point crimson glasses don’t work,” Brando posted.
Ingram fired back at Brando for his claim.
“I didn’t mention any team name in particular. Problem with your theory is SC lost head to head to Bama. Either way I hope you enjoyed the FCS semi final like I did. HOW DO YOU DO!!” Ingram posted in response.
The committee has found itself at the center of much criticism after the first round of the inaugural 12-team playoff.
