Former Alabama linebacker, Reggie Ragland found himself having to defend himself against accusations he got paid while playing football at the University of Alabama.
Ragland played at Alabama from 2012 to 2015, winning two National Championships with the Crimson Tide.
An X account made a post directed at Ragland, accusing Alabama of paying players on Wednesday.
“Bama players been getting paid handsomely for decades. Dont be greedy,” the post said.
The former Tide linebacker cleared the air in his response.
“I didn’t get paid,” Ragland posted in response.
The new NIL rules have former college athletes thinking about the money they missed out on, and Ragland is among those players.
