Kaiden Prothro is highly interest in Alabama football after watching the Crimson Tide defeat Georgia and Auburn while visiting during the 2024 season.
Prothro is a 2026 tight-end prospect out of Bowdon High School in Bowdon, Georgia. He currently garners a four-star rating from most recruiting sites with the potential to be a consensus five-star recruit in the future.
The Georgia product has respect for the what the Crimson Tide has been able to achieve in their rich history.
“Bama is always going to be Bama football,” Prothro said. “They’re known for winning, known for getting after the opponent’s tail. I feel like Bama’s always just going to be a top contender in the SEC and just college football.”
Alabama’s tight ends were very involved in Kalen DeBoer’s first year, and this stands out to Prothro.
“Coach was telling me that they don’t have no guys like me, just some in-line guys, who just go out and catch passes, but they can still run when they need guys to split out and just do their thing,” said Prothro. “I feel like what they are doing this year with their tight ends having a bunch of catches, just making plays, see myself out there just splitting out wide, just making even bigger catches and running the offense.”
The 6-foot-6, 210-pounder is a big target, who is difficult to bring down in space. He has experience lining up out wide and making plays similar to0 a wide receiver.
