Alabama saw its second player of the day head to the NCAA transfer portal.

Sources informed Touchdown Alabama that true freshman linebacker Sterling Dixon has entered the transfer portal.

Dixon appeared in three games this past season against Western Kentucky, Missouri and Mercer but recorded no stats. He will depart with four years of eligibility remaining as his new home.

Dixon is now the 21st member of the Crimson Tide to enter the transfer portal this past season.

The complete list of players in the portal includes defensive linemen Jeheim Oatis, Hunter Osborne and Damon Payne, linebackers Keanu Koht, Jayshawn Ross and Jeremiah Alexander, defensive backs Jahlil Hurley, King Mack and DeVonta Smith, wide receivers Kobe Prentice, Kendrick Law, Emmanuel Henderson, Caleb Odom, Jaren Hamilton and Amari Jefferson, offensive linemen Mile McVay, and Naquil Bertrand, tight end Ty Lockwood, running back Justice Haynes and quarterback Dylan Lonergan.
