Former Alabama DB transfers to UNLV

A former Alabama defensive back has announced his next stop at the college level. Jake Pope will transfer from Georgia to UNLV.

Pope signed with Alabama as a member of the 2022 recruiting class. In two seasons at Alabama, Pope played in 12 games. He did not record any stats.

Following the 2023 season, Pope entered the transfer portal and signed with Georgia. He appeared in four games for the Bulldogs but did not record any stats.

Now, Pope will look to take the next step in his college career with UNLV. He will join a program that had a strong campaign in 2024. The Rebels finished with a 11-3 record during the 2024 season. Pope will add depth and experience to the back end of their defense.
