Former Alabama offensive coordinator fired by Seattle Seahawks

Washington Huskies OC Ryan Grubb during media availability before 2024 CFP National Championship Game versus Michigan.

Ryan Grubb has been fired by the Seattle Seahawks, per multiple reports.

Grubb coached at Washington as the Huskies’ offensive coordinator under Kalen DeBoer before taking the job as the Seahawks’ offensive coordinator for a year.

The former Seahawks coach was expected to be the Crimson Tide’s offensive coordinator in 2024. He introduced himself as Alabama’s offensive coordinator at an event before eventually being introduced as the Seattle’s offensive coordinator a week or so later.

Nick Sheridan took on the role when Grubb decided to coach in Seattle.
