Former Alabama WR Agiye Hall announces commitment out of transfer portal

Agiye Hall (#84) runs with the football for Alabama after catch versus Georgia in 2022 CFP title game

Former Alabama wide receiver Agiye Hall appears to be back in college football. On Sunday evening, Hall announced that he had transferred to Sacramento State via his Instagram story.

Hall has had a tumultuous college career. Coming out of high school, Hall signed with Alabama. He spent one season with the Crimson Tide. The Florida native played in seven games and recorded four receptions for 72 yards.

Following his freshman campaign, Hall entered the transfer portal and signed with Texas. He went on to spend one season in Austin after facing some off-the-field issues. As a member of the Longhorns, Hall reeled in one reception for seven yards.

Following the season, he chose to enter the transfer portal. In 2023, he sat out and was unable to find a place to call home. Then, in 2024, Hall got into some legal trouble. Fortunately for Hall, it was something that did not prohibit him from returning to football.

Now, after two years of waiting, Hall is returning to college football. This time he will play in the Big Sky Conference as a member of the Sacramento State Hornets. It will be interesting to see how his next chapter unfolds.
