Kamhariyan Johnson reported an offer from Alabama football this week as his recruitment continues to trend in an upwards direction.
Johnson is a 2026 defensive line prospect out of Muscle Shoals High School in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He now holds offers from the Crimson Tide, Auburn, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and others.
His Alabama offer is one Johnson feels is special.
“This offer means a lot to me, having the chance to play for a school I always watched growing up,” Johnson told Touchdown Alabama.
Alabama hosted Johnson for a visit during the football season and have been building a relationship with him.
The Tide’s defensive line coach and Alabama area recruiter, Freddie Roach is expected to play a key role in Alabama’s push for the junior in the future. The rising prospect feels Alabama will continue to be considered a winning program.
“I think Alabama is still an elite program and definitely will still be a winning school,” said Johnson.
Johnson is listed at 6-foot-5 and 260 pounds. He is one of the most versatile defensive lineman prospects in the 2026 recruiting class wit his rare ability to play in space and get sideline to sideline at his size. He has also shown the ability to get to the quarterback with active hands upon the rush.
The junior finished the 2024 season with 11 sacks, 47 tackles and 13 tackles for loss.
