Former Alabama linebacker Sterling Dixon is transferring to North Carolina State.

Dixon is a former four-star in the 2024 recruiting class. He spent one season in Tuscaloosa. Dixon played in three games and recorded one tackle for the Crimson Tide.

He is the 20th player to transfer from Alabama this offseason. He is the sixth Alabama native to transfer from the Crimson Tide this offseason.

Dixon should have an opportunity to see the field sooner in Raleigh. The Wolfpack lost the majority of their starters on the defensive side of the ball this offseason whether they entered the transfer portal or turned pro. This is a good opportunity for Dixon to prove himself and make a name for himself.
