Nick Saban was told Friday he is going into the College Football Hall of Fame in December of 2025 live on ESPN.
Rece Davis delivered the news on ESPN College Gameday. Saban was unaware of the achievement beforehand, and viewers got to see his genuine reaction.
“Any time anything like this happen, it’s because you had a lot of great people in your organization, a lot of great players, a lot of great coaches, a lot of support staff,” Saban said after he was notified. “I was happy to drive the bus, but we had some great people on it.”
