Brayden Rouse is yet another Georgia defender, who is going to be recruited by Alabama football.
Rouse is a 2026 four-star linebacker out of Kell High School in Marietta, Georgia.
The four-star has picked up offers from Alabama, Auburn, Arizona State, Florida Atlantic, Florida State, Georgia, Texas A&M and West Virginia in recent days.
His offer from Alabama makes Rouse feel like his recruitment is heading in the right direction.
“It is winning football at Bama and by earning the offer, it makes me feel like what I am doing is right,” Rouse said.
Alabama will look to get Rouse on campus in the future as the junior is interested in getting to Tuscaloosa for a visit. His respect for Alabama football is rooted in the Tide’s past success, but he does believe in what Kalen DeBoer has Alabama trending toward.
“They have been one of the most dominant programs in the last couple years and with the new coaching change, I feel that they are on a good path,” said Rouse.
The game of football is constantly evolving and the use of athletic linebackers continues to be a major part of the evolution. Rouse is the exact linebacker type many college coaches are drilling over at the moment with his 6-foot-3, 208-pound frame. He can play in space, drop back in coverage, get after the quarterback rushing from the edge and make plays on the ball on offense and defense.
Rouse finished his 2024 season with 105 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and five pass breakups. He also added 25 catches for 378 yards and eight touchdowns.
