Alabama football lost multiple players to the transfer portal after the 2024 season.

This comes as no surprise as the current landscape of college football makes every program vulnerable to losing players to the portal.

The Crimson Tide lost a total of 21 players to the transfer portal at the end of the regular season and after the ReliaQuest Bowl. 23 players have now departed from the program since the start of the 2024 season when you include Naquil Betrand and Jaheim Oatis. Both players stepped away from the program before the season ended.

Alabama’s offense lost 12 offensive players to the portal. This group combined for 23 passing yards, 519 rushing yards, 485 receiving yards, seven rushing touchdowns and two receiving touchdowns during the 2024 season.

A total of 11 defenders decided to leave the Tide. They take 92 total tackles, 0.5 sacks, two tackles for loss, two quarterback hurries and seven pass deflections with them.

Alabama has added nine players from the transfer portal.
