Alabama football has continuously shown they want Xavier Griffin to be a member of the Crimson Tide.
Griffin is a product of Gainesville High School in Georgia and is one of the best linebacker prospects in the 2026 recruiting class. The junior is currently committed to USC. Alabama is recruiting him to play the Wolf linebacker position which he is perfect fit for with his athleticism and position versatility.

The Tide is expected to visit Griffin Thursday as he continues to feel like a ‘top target’ for them. The four-star is a native of Alabama, who grew up a fan of the Crimson Tide.
Alabama is obviously not the only other team pushing to flip Griffin from USC. Georgia, Florida State and Tennessee are also very active in his recruitment. He will visit Florida State this weekend and go to Tennessee for Junior Day on next weekend.
