ESPN NFL draft analyst, Mel Kiper has two Alabama players listed as first-round draft picks in his first mock draft.
Tyler Booker and Jihaad Campbell were both slotted to be picked in the first round by Kiper.
Booker is the first Crimson Tide player listed on Kiper’s big board. Kiper predicts the 6-foot-5, 325-pound interior lineman will be selected by the Arizona Cardinals with the No.16 overall pick. Kiper labels Booker as “the best pure guard” in the 2025 NFL draft class.
Kiper doesn’t have Campbell too far behind Booker as he predicts the 6-foot-3, 245-pound linebacker to the Cincinnati Bengals with the No. 17 overall selection. Kiper views Campbell as an “instinctive and explosive” defender who “does a little bit of everything” on the defensive side of the ball.
It will be interesting to see if Kiper’s rankings are subject to change with other Crimson Tide players competing in the East-West Shrine Bowl, Reese Senior Bowl and the NFL Combine with just three months remaining until draft day on April 24th.
