Alabama’s coaching staff has been active on the recruiting trail the past two weeks. A slew of top targets have received in-home visits and school visits from members of the staff.
The majority of the coaching staff will spend Thursday recruiting some of the top prospects in Georgia. One of those is 2026 four-star offensive lineman Bear McWhorter. McWhorter posted a picture on X on Thursday that featured him alongside head coach Kalen DeBoer, offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic, and outside linebackers coach Christian Robinson.
McWhorter received an offer from Alabama in June of 2023 under the previous coaching staff.
McWhorter plays for Cass High School in Kingston, Georgia. He is listed at 6-foot-3 and 285 pounds. He projects as an interior offensive lineman at the college level.
Several schools that Alabama will have to battle for McWhorter’s commitment are Georgia, South Carolina, Arkansas, and Michigan.
