Former Ohio State quarterback, Cardale Jones felt it was fitting to draw a comparison from Ryan Day to Nick Saban after Ohio State won the National Championship.
The Buckeyes defeated Notre Dame on Monday for Day’s first National Championship win as a head coach. Jones felt it was fitting to point out the fact Day won his first title at a younger age than Saban.
Jones feels respect needs to be ‘on his name’ for doing so.
“8 years younger than Saban when he won his 1st National Title. 2 years earlier during his head coaching career than Saban,” Jones posted to X.
