Former Alabama safety, Vinnie Sunseri has decided to accept a job as the Co-Defensive Coordinator and safeties coach for the Florida Gators, per CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz.
Sunseri played for the Crimson Tide from 2011 to 2013, winning two National Championships.
The Pennsylvania product was recently announced as the Jacksonville State defensive coordinator. It looks as if he is turning down a stint with the Gamecocks at the moment.
Sunseri previously coached at Washington and with the New England Patriots after being a grad assistant at Alabama.
